Rain Nutrition – Scam

As a keen observer, I have noticed that lately there has been a sudden buzz about Rain Nutrition. The community, even more of those in the marketing industry, has been captured of the opportunity that the said company is about to give. Along with this are the stories of course are the typical ‘MLM naysayers’ saying that Rain Nutrition is a scam.

Well, in this article, let me tackle the truth about Rain nutrition and see if it is a scam, or a legitimate home based business.

Rain Nutrition is a MLM that registered their domain in May 2009. The said company offers two primary products, soul and rush. The first product, soul, will be competing in the health and wellness market while the second product will be competing the energy drink market. In relation to this, Rain Nutrition’s website states that their products have been developed in partnership with Dr. Arnold Leonardo. The purpose of the said partnership is to create a world class line of nutritional products that will continue to expand along with the demands of the market.

From that, it can be considered that the opportunity that Rain Nutrition is about to offer is both unique and provocative. But will it live up to the hype?

Let’s move on with the compensation plan and see what they have to offer.

As what Rain Nutrition claims, they offer a generous plan. On a weekly basis, Rain Nutrition pays out its distributors a guaranteed fifty percent of all commissionable volume. So distributor’s income depends on the sales he will make. If a distributor is able to make lots of product sales and recruits other sales reps to do the same thing as he does, he can make a large stream of income. This is a common compensation plan in the nutritional industry and has been proven an effective means of growing a profitable company, and compensating the distributor force at the same time.

In conclusion, Rain Nutrition isn’t a scam. Instead, it’s just a new MLM Company trying to establish its credibility by offering individuals an opportunity to make money.

However, like any profession, it’s not the company that makes an individual successful.

If you want success in Rain Nutrition, you need the right set of knowledge & skills and COACHING from people who actually know what they’re doing. Yes, an individual has to have a well established foundation of marketing techniques for him to have an edge in the marketing industry and be able to sponsor 10-20 reps a month.

After all, this is a marketing industry, so a parallel set of knowledge is the most important one.

Fad Diets – Why Fad Diets Suck

People fail to lose weight not because they are lazy but because they follow fad diets. If you too are following or want to follow fad diets, don’t expect to lose weight and become slim. In this article I will tell you about three reasons why you shouldn’t use fad diets.

Bad Track Record
If fad diets were really so good, why is everyone not losing weight with their help? Weight loss cannot be achieved simply by dieting; there are a whole lot of things to consider here. If you are serious about weight loss, you need to modify your lifestyle habits: you need to change your unhealthy eating habits, you need to stop sitting on the couch, and you need keep your body active at all times.

Can a fad diet force you to do all these things? No. That is why even if you lose a few pounds initially with those fad diets, you will regain them all back as soon as you get back to your unhealthy lifestyle habits. So, if you really want to lose weight fast, don’t follow any fad diets; rather, be ready to change your lifestyle habits.

Restircted to only a few foods
More often than not, fad diets put you into such a strict food restriction that you virtually remain hungry most of the time. Two things can happen here. Either, out of extreme hunger, you will eat loads of junk foods and gain loads of pounds in the process, or if you are one of the ‘self-disciplined’ types, then you will try hard to bear with your hunger, in which case, your body would take over.

When your body receives inadequate food supply, it would assume that you are going to kill it. In such a case, your body would move into a ‘starvation’ mode where it would horde fad deposits instead of burning them. Naturally, you won’t be able to lose weight.

Starving sucks
You have a third reason for not dieting. Why the heck would you starve when you can eat and lose weight? Believe it or not, if you eat healthy foods and stay away from calorie-rich junk foods, you will automatically start losing weight. Plus your body would love the fact that it is getting more nutrition than before from your meals.

Make sure that you include foods such as natural fruits, vegetables, whole grains, nuts, apples, legumes, soy, lean chicken meat, etc., in your diet. Also don’t forget to drink green tea regularly. These are special weight loss foods which would not only keep you full but also help you burn fat and lose weight.

I don’t know about you, but if I am offered the option to choose between losing weight through starvation and losing weight by eating, I would choose the latter.

Muscle Building Sports Nutrition The Misconstrued Truth of Eating Big To Get Big Part 2

Another important point that isnt mentioned enough when hearing about mass nutrition plans, is the source of your calories.

We can get all scientific and argue that the thermodynamic value of a calorie is the same regardless of where it comes from. However, all of the ingredients, additives and nutrients, or lack thereof, that come with that calorie, influences youre level of health.

You cant expect to gorge on low quality foods loaded with processed ingredients, salt, additives, sugars, high fructose corn syrup etc and think youre going to get peak performance from your body. It aint gonna happen.

High performance race cars run on high performance fuel, and, as they say in the computer programming world, Junk in Junk Out! Eating junk makes youre body work harder by having to clean up the mess that garbage makes in your body. Low quality food is not only filled with second and third rate ingredients and additives that add extra stress to your body, they also tend to have next to no nutritional value, hence the term “empty calories.”

If you make a balanced nutrition plan consisting of high quality whole foods the foundation of whatever your goal is at the time, be it gaining mass, getting lean, performing at your peak, you will find your results and health always increasing.

Eating Time!

Minimize Eliminate Processed Foods The best way to steer clear of added junk in your nutrition plan is to minimize or eliminate processed foods. If you currently are eating a lot of processed foods, either switch them for the unprocessed kind all together, or slowly introduce them into your nutrition plan.

Eat whole, unprocessed Natural foods Stick to whole foods, preferably organic and make sure youre consuming lots of fruits and vegetable which are loaded with nutrients and help cleanse your body.

It may take a bit to get used to this, but when you do you wont believe the difference in how youll feel, recover, perform and even think. The sex will be better too!

Auto Racing, It’s Not Just a Sport

For decades, we have heard people debating whether racing is a sport or not. Like most involved in the racing industry, I have stood strong behind my reasons why racing is a sport. After all, Webster’s Dictionary defines a sport as “any activity in which athletes compete against one another.” However, in the face of tragedy, I must go back and adjust my stance. Racing isn’t just a sport, it’s more than that. It’s family, it’s friends, it’s… Life.

Racing is one of the few sports where week in and week out you have the honor, or not so much, of competing against the same group of people. Grassroots or at the professional level you get to know, respect, and befriend your competitors… until the helmet gets pulled on. The brotherhood this creates shows in face of tragedy as with the recent loss of Jason Leffler. Every racer understands the risks associated with racing. They have accepted that risk and chosen to continue racing, not for the money, because this is what they love… it’s what they live for.

Chances are you will never catch Tiger Woods at your local golf course playing in a scramble, just because he wanted to hit some balls. You won’t get dunked on by Blake Griffin in a 5 on 5 pick-up game at the rec center. Racers are a different athlete. On any given weekend, you never know when you might walk through the gates of your local short track and see some of NASCAR’s finest trading paint with the locals… just because.

When tragedy strikes the racing community, everyone associated feels it. It doesn’t matter if you race dirt, asphalt, as a hobby, or as a professional it is felt by all. In racing nothing is for certain, except that eventually you will wreck. Some more than others, some harder than others but if you do it long enough, it will happen. Racers cheat death more often than not, but when she rears her ugly head we all stop to mourn. We take some time to pray for the family, hug our kids, and slap a Rest In Peace sticker on the B post. Then we all climb back into the car and tell ourselves, it can’t happen to me.

It’s not the money fueling these drivers to get back behind the wheel. Some spend every last dime just to make it to the track, not for the prize money, but for the chance to get their picture with that black and white checkered flag. The Holy Grail racers spend their life chasing. They’re fueled by the excitement, the adrenaline, the friendships, and because… it’s their life! The next time someone tells me that racing isn’t a sport, I’ll tip my racing cap and politely state, ” You’re right… it’s bigger than that.”

Liquid Vitamins vs. Pill Form-Which is better

Liquid vitamins vs. pill form can be asked from several different positions, some of which are inter-related. The most notable consideration is quality followed by absorption ratio. Not unimportant is the cost of each. We view these variables all important but in my opinion nothing is more important than quality so the discuss that first.

From a quality standpoint concerning liquid vitamins vs. pill vitamins the winner in this arena is “liquid vitamins”. Vitamins in pill form, to preserve the nutrients for shelf life, must be dried in a way that requires heating which is often times detrimental to the preservation of nutrients. The heating process is always a challenging aspect of preserving nutrients for shelf life of nutritional supplements. In 2000 I attended a conference where a keynote speech was given by the economist Paul Zane Pilzer who was giving a speech on the soon to be trillion dollar wellness industry. In his speech he cited the dismal quality record of vitamin manufactures with only 6 of the top 18 companies actually providing the nutrients that they claim on their packaging. These vitamin producers are rated by the NSF and 2/3 of the top 18 failed to measure up. We have had, until recently, few choices outside of pill form vitamins as they are easier to produce.

It is, obviously, much easier to produce vitamins in pill form than liquid vitamins. The problem is, again, the drying process, which destroys important nutrients. Nutrient potency almost always suffers from the transportation process, whether by rail or truck, both of which expose the product to decay and environmental pollution. One of the down sides of farming and production is the time required to transport the raw form product to the manufacturer and this has a direct impact of the preservation of the important compounds used in nutritional supplements. A manufacturer also owns the fields where plants are harvested and has an onsite manufacturing facility this can minimize this problem with the “field to factory” system.

One of the most notable challenges with pill form nutritional supplements is that their absorption rates are greatly affected by the amount of fillers in the product. The absence of fillers in liquid vitamins or nutraceuticals make them a more appealing choice over pill vitamins. In liquid vitamins vs. pill form debate there is no question that the liquid nutrients are much more easily absorbed by the stomach and intestinal tract and assimilated more rapidly as these products are often in their natural and raw states. My suggestion is that you seriously investigate liquid nutrients or nutraceuticals and come to you own conclusion. I highly recommend liquid vitamins to those on weight loss programs due to the lack of nutrient dense foods and poor absorption rates of pill vitamins.

Current and Emerging Trends in Fitness

Fitness is a constantly changing field. There are always new machines, methods, and theories aimed at improving the quality of life. Fitness fads may come and go, but there have been several trends in fitness that have lasted several decades and continue to grow in popularity.

Aerobic exercise has always formed the backbone of the fitness industry. Running, step aerobics, dance-type aerobics, boxing, kickboxing, and spinning, an indoor cycling class set to music, have all emerged as mainstays in health and fitness facilities. Their popularity continues to grow.

Aquatic exercise has also increased in popularity. Water has the unique ability to allow cardiovascular and muscular improvements with little stress on the joints of the body. Aquatic exercise is no longer just swimming laps; almost every class that can be done on land is now being done in the water. Running, spinning, step aerobics, and even strengthening can all be done in the water.

With the improvement of health care and longer life spans, older adult exercise has expanded and has also become a necessity to maintain a positive quality of life. Not only are older adults engaging in exercise to maintain and improve health, they are taking part in competitive road races, cycling races, and bodybuilding competitions. Age barriers no longer exist and because of this, fitness classes geared toward the older population are widespread.

As grandparents and great-grandparents take part in sports and fitness, they set an example for younger generations. These younger generations have the benefit of improved technology and more abundant food, and with these things-and a more sedentary lifestyle-come the increased chance that they will live a less healthy lifestyle than their active older family members. The fitness field combats this possibility of unhealthy living with sports and fitness programs geared toward children and young adults. This fitness trend is now faced with the challenge of improving the heath of future generations and has the opportunity to encourage a lifetime of healthy habits.

But the greatest transformation in the fitness field has been the growth of the mind-and-body exercises. There has been a shift toward gentler, more introspective exercises that also contribute to improving cardiovascular health while increasing flexibility and muscular strength. Yoga and pilates would fall into this category of exercise. Yoga has its roots in ancient India (from around 2800 BCE) and focuses on breathing and mindfulness during a practice of held poses. Pilates, on the other hand, was developed by Joseph H. Pilates (1880-1967) around 1926. Pilates’ method involved a unique series of stretching and strengthening exercises. Both yoga and pilates use an individual’s breath and self-awareness as the focus of exercise. Aside from the obvious strength and flexibility benefits, these mind and body exercises are popular for their stress relieving qualities.

Finding Your Recreational Sport in Colorado

When you live in such a beautiful state, it would be a shame is you didn’t take advantage of its natural surroundings. Whether it’s snowboarding, golf, hiking, or using your fly fishing rods to catch some amazing fish, this is the place to be if you like to be outside. If you do not mind putting on a little extra sunscreen and investing in some polarized sunglasses, then this is the place to be during whatever season because there is always something wonderful to do outdoors. If you are into extreme winter or water sports, Colorado’s great lakes and its famous Rockies will keep you entertained for a lifetime. There are so many top notch ski resorts here and so many lakes to camp at that you won’t run out until you’re too old to put on your skis.

If you are thinking about moving from wherever you hail from, Colorado is a great place to settle down and start a family. There’s really no place like it since you can enjoy some great snowboarding one day and golf the next, sometimes you can do it all in one day. On top of all this, Colorado has some of the best biking trails and fly fishing rivers out there. All you need is a fishing license that costs around thirty dollars, some fly tying kits and an adventurous heart to get out there and have the time of your life. There is a difference between simply living somewhere and tolerating it and actually loving the land beneath you.

The only downside about Colorado is that the weather changes so quickly that you might not be able to adapt to it. It might be 79 degrees one day and 39 the next. It doesn’t matter if it’s spring, summer, fall, or winter. The weather will try to trick you any day of the week. So check the weather application on your phone before going to work every morning because you might be in for a rude awakening once you open your door.

If you already live here in beautiful Colorado, then you know what it has to offer. Chances are you have already found your adventure here and to those who are trying to make a decision, this is the place to be. Whether you are using your fly fishing reels or your newly waxed snowboard, outdoor happiness awaits anyone who moves here.

Sport Fishing Team

Sport Fishing Team the very name suggests a bunch of passionate individuals who have a special eye for fishing. Sport Fishing Team is generally part of some fishing tournament and friendly competitions that give fishing and angling a paradigm that is obviously a lot more than just a hobby.

Sport Fishing basically refers to going for the big fish like Swordfish, Sailfish, Marlin and Tuna, etc. It is actually a lot of fun to catch such jumbo fishes and bring them back as catches to compete in the tournament.

A Sport Fishing Team consists of all those anglers who are well acquainted with all the knowledge and information that you look for all around in the magazines and on the net. Hence, quite obviously when they go out for fishing they tend to enjoy a lot, thanks to their acquired skill that add to the excitement of catching the big fish. This is something that is often found among the anglers at the Team Bad Company.

Things that make sport fishing all the more exciting are:

The salt air of the ocean
The fishes gliding away in the lush waters awaiting your line
The innovative strategies to get the biggest catch and win the tournament
You can be out for the entire day on an expedition that will appeal to your passion for fishing. In case of a comprehensive trip it can lead to 24 hours on the waters in a luxury yacht, what can possibly be better than that!

A normal angler who pursues fishing as just another favorite pastime has to undergo a lot of training and take in a lot of knowledge before he or she could become a part of a professional sport fishing team. Because when the team comes into the scenario it is the question of edge of the entire team who are all together competing against other teams of pros. In such a scene the skill and the joined effort of all the members of a sport fishing team lead to the success of it in entirety.

In the fishing tournaments what generally happens is that all the competing teams insert their lines into the water at the same time. They also come out at the same time. So the idea is to catch the most and the best within that stipulated period of time. The team that manages to do so emerges the winner.

That way every competing team in the tournament gets the same advantage and the sole element of success depends on the two issues of skill on one hand and luck on the other. Luck is a very significant factor as you have to be at the right place where the fishes are actually biting away at the baits. Luck can take you to an extent where you can grab at the largest Marlin out of the water thereby winning the tournament for you and your entire sport fishing team.

Diets That Work

You will often hear that “diets don’t work”, which, for the most part is true. Most diets involve meticulously counting every last calorie you consume (which will eventually be impossible to keep up with), and rely on the faulty caloric theory of weight loss (calories in vs. calories burned).

So the majority of diets, and the way people treat diets, makes them ineffective.

But, there are a few exceptions! These exceptions are more about implementing specific eating habits and adopting a new lifestyle than actually “going on a diet”.

Here are three popular and effective low carb plans that you may want to experiment with and see what works for you:

1. The Atkins Diet. The first thing to note about the Atkins plan is all the misconceptions of what it is. The Atkins diet was never an “all protein” diet: the induction phase is about 35{d18682c00efcd888c3ff48ae37cce7aee75ff26961c2edce79f2e3804abb2a06} protein, and the maintenance phase at only 25{d18682c00efcd888c3ff48ae37cce7aee75ff26961c2edce79f2e3804abb2a06}! Amazingly, contrary to popular believe, Atkins emphasized eating vegetables, talked about the importance of fiber, and went to great lengths to promote the idea of individual responses and the need for customizing. He also was big on exercise. The Atkins plan may be very helpful for people with carb addictions resistant metabolisms, significant insulin problems, and a fair amount of weight to lose.

2. The Fat Flush Plan. This is a 3-phase eating plan designed for both fat loss and detoxification. The idea is you lose fat while making your body more efficient at processing it effectively. In the first phase you are cutting way back on carbohydrates (you can still have 2 portions of fruit a day and a ton of vegetables), with each additional phase adding back more carbs until you reach maintenance.

3. The South Beach Diet. Another 3-phase plan. For the first 2 weeks, you cut out completely: bread, rice, potatoes, pasta, baked goods, fruit, sugar, and alcohol. In the 2nd phase, you add back in just enough carbs to allow you to continue losing weight. In the 3rd phase, when you’ve reached your goal weight, you can add more carbs from any food category you like.

These are three great low carb diets that work. They are similar, but there is no one-size-fits-all in healthy low carb eating, so it is important to try different ways of eating and discover what works best for you.

The Most Popular Sports In The United States

All around the globe, on any given day, you will find some sort of sports event on your local television station or on cable. With networks dedicated solely to sports, you can find things like boxing, bowling, fishing, basketball, football, baseball and soccer on 24 hours a day! Most days you will be able to see sports live, either by watching pee-wee, high school, college and even professional sports events. Most ticket prices for local sports are reasonable and you and your whole family can enjoy the excitement of the game!

When you look at the citizens of the United States, there are several sports that seem to be much more popular than others. They, of course, will cost you a bit more to attend, but the thrill of being there will make the price well worth it. The most popular sports in the United States today, being watched live and on screens, are:

1. Baseball is one of the top sports being played in the United States. Having been played in the United States the longest, baseball attracts millions of fans to ball fields every year. There isnt just professional baseball to keep many Americans busy, though. Proud parents everywhere enjoy watching their children learn and play the game. What a great feeling when you see your child hit the ball or score a run! As the old song goes, Take me out to the ball game!. When it comes to sports, professional and amateur, baseball is ranked right up there at the top.

2. Football began as a college sport in the United States in the mid 1800s. Football is truly the American Sport, since it is played in the United States exclusively. It has grown from being played only in college to having professional teams and being played by students in both elementary and high schools. The Super Bowl is one of the most watched television events when it comes to sports, and it determines which one of the many professional football teams will be considered the best for that year!

3. Basketball is a popular sport worldwide. The number of people around the world playing basketball can reach a staggering 300 million! Basketball is one of the only professional sports in the United States to welcome foreign players onto teams, with many players of professional basketball being recruited from other countries and brought to the United States to play.

4. Hockey is one of the newer sports gaining popularity with the American public. It did not originate in the United States, but it has found its way into our sporting life and become one of the fastest growing sports. Ice hockey is the most popular form of this sport, with street hockey being popular with older kids everywhere.

You may be asking Where is golf and soccer on this list? Well, although both sports are gaining in popularity, neither one meets the level of fans of the sports listed above.
